Spa Cancellation Policy At The Twisted Willow Spa, we are committed to providing all our guests with exceptional service. When an appointment is reserved, that time is set aside just for you. We understand that sometimes life happens and schedule adjustments are necessary, so we kindly ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellation & Rescheduling 24-Hour Notice Required: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a 100% cancellation fee of the scheduled service(s). No-Shows: Clients who miss their appointment without prior notice will be charged 100% of the service cost. Late Arrivals: Arriving late may limit the time available for your service (ex: if you are 15 mins late for a 30 mins service, your service will be shorted to only the 15 mins left) but if you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to reschedule your appointment. Deposit Policy: A deposit will be collected when booking all appointments - this is a nonrefundable deposit. The deposit will come out of the amount owed for the service (ex: if you pay $5 deposit when booking a $20 service, at the time of the appointment you will only pay $15). If you reschedule an appointment with more than 24 hours notice, this deposit can be reallocated to the new appointment.
For the last 13 years, Kyrsta Morehouse lived in Los Angeles as a celebrity makeup artist and instructor. Massage therapy found Katie in her youth working on horses. She witnessed the benefits of massage on these animals who were being rehabbed from injuries from the racetrack, overworked, or general injuries. After high school, she sustained a back and knee injury that ultimately led to surgery in both areas. Katie’s recovery process brought her full circle back to massage as part of her healing process, and at 38 she decided to start her college career at Stark State College - graduating in 2020 with an associates in applied science in massage therapy, with a specialization in geriatric massage and sports massage. She went on to graduate from Franklin University with a Bachelor's of exercise science, and is starting her Masters in AyerVedic medicine in fall. Katie is also a certified industrial ergonomic evaluator, and has certifications in: sports massage, stretching, kinesio taping and blading (like guasha), cupping, medicupping, Dermo-Neuro Modulation, and a reiki master/teacher. Previously, she traveled with Dorn Companies, a revolutionary company providing injury prevention programs and ergonomic aid in factories and Fortune 500 companies nationwide. She conducted ergonomic evaluations, trained and mentored new providers, and led/managed 60+ providers at 30 sites in 15 states. With years of experience and so many amazing specialities, we are so excited to have Katie join our team!
